- Jeff Fabb is only filling in for Filter, he's still "ours!" (yay!)
- They're looking at August as the possible release date for the new album with the distinct possibility of a single before then.
- James is currently writing with Ted Bruner, Simon Wilcox and Eric Bass and is scheduled to be writing for another week.
- Part of the material for the second album (as yet unnamed) has indeed already been recorded.
- Two of James' favorite songs to perform are "May" (which we heard electrified at the Catalyst performance in Santa Cruz) and "You're Not Alone" (which is this writer's absolute favorite).
- There will be a video to accompany a single's release.
- In response to fans' disappointment in not finding James on the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk's concert schedule for this year, he said "That's so we can hit it harder and bigger next year!! Better than ever!!"
- James lists his inspirations as "the beach, my childhood, staying positive, Heidi and Hunter as always and my acoustic guitar"
- His favorite actor is Johnny Depp, because he knows he's going to see the same consistent performance no matter what the film and that is reassuring.
- James says Candice & Kree are slaying this season on Idol.
- He likes one half 'n half in his tea.
- And yes Virginia, James does believe in Santa Claus. :)
