OutcastArmyFans: Where do you see yourself, professionally, in five years?
James: "Successful in one way or another, and very, very happy!"
OutcastArmyFans: We know you love being home in Santa Cruz and with your beautiful family; do you enjoy the touring part of your job, or is it more of a necessary duty?
James: "Touring is great. It's how I meet all my awesome fans and get to do what I love."
OutcastArmyFans: Please talk about the meaning of or stories behind your newest tattoos - the sailing ship and the winged bomb.
James: "I just like them..."
OutcastArmyFans: What exactly is your vocal range? I've heard 4 octaves, 5 octaves...
James: "4 octaves."
OutcastArmyFans: What is the significance of the swallow on your acoustic guitar - does it maybe represent Heidi?
James: "Got it at Bed, Bath & Beyond. It is just cool."
OutcastArmyFans: Who has the final say on what songs make the cut for your new album? Can you insist on a song being included?
James: "It's -MY- album :) "
OutcastArmyFans: Is there a contact where fans can send suggestions for venues or festivals where we'd like to see you perform? (we at OutcastArmyFans get that question a lot!)
James: "Let me know on Facebook and Twitter!"
OutcastArmyFans: And, most importantly, what can we as fans do to best help promote you and your music? We REALLY want to help, please give us some direction! :)
James: "Call your local stations and DEMAND SOME DURBIN!"
There you have it, DurbiNation! A few tidbits to tide you over until James starts touring to promote his much-anticipated second album.
